New Alliance Battle Maps. (AB Gotten Boring)
Alliance Battles got boring and is still boring even after the Kurz/Lux Faction Points Update. Many players on both sides complain how boring the maps are, but a lot of us AB just to kill time when PVE gotten a bit repetitive too.
Anet, how about new maps and even spicing up AB a bit more, by adding Nightfall and Tyria into it. Have something like Corsair VS. Kournans, Jade Vs. Ah Fam, anything!!!
Just juice up ab again.
I'm sure this topic was brought up before, but it needs to come back up!!!

Having Elonian and Tyrian Maps wouldn't make any sense. I'd like new Canthan maps though, playing the same maps is boring.
PS: It's Am Fah not Ah Fam.

They could definitely use more AB maps. It's one of the few interesting things to do now.

It would be cool if Alliance Battles had something with Elonia and Tyria as some crossover for players who have all campaigns.

It would be SOOOOO nice to have even a couple of new neutral AB maps. As it is now, I, for one, do not AB at Ancestral lands or its luxon counterpart. The first, because the wait time is horrendous (for us Kurzicks) and the second because the odds of winning there (again, for us Kurzicks) are so low that the faction gains aren't worth it.

First of all: You say Nightfall and Tyria. Then you give Corsair VS. Kournans and Jade VS. Am Fah as examples.
Corsairs VS. Kournans is Elona, but Jade VS. Am Fah isn't Tyria, it's Cantha. It wouldn't make any sense to make multiple factions in the same campaign.
Second: Corsairs VS. Kournans wouldn't make any sense either because they were the ones working together VS. the Istani.
Third: Spicing up AB with new maps, I'm all for. But adding Elona and Tyria into the mix just doesn't really make sense. There just aren't two factions with their own land who've been fighting a war over hundreds of years in either Elona or Tyria.
Conclusion: MOAR MAPS.

But there isn't any reason for it to have anything remotely to do with the Luxon/Kurzick conflict. If you mean an AB style match that isn't related to the factions, it'd need good rewards to make up for not getting lux/kurz faction. I wouldn't play it.

Lore-wise, the city is in disarray right? Like the emperor doesn't take control of Cantha until after GW1...why not have a map on the outskirts of the city? IT would be more of an urban setting. Also, they could add levels and walkways to this city setting. These could also be HzH and Cavalon. We don't have maps actually in the cities. Why not have an AB map right in the capital city?

More maps would be nice to freshen it up a little. Although I did AB for the first time in ages this weekend and the new IA Ranger build is so much fun its freaky
3 new maps for the mid Luxon/Kurzick and Center maps would be nice so that when the boundary moves back or forward you have a random choice of 2 areas of the "front" to fight on.

I am laughing here. People still expect Anet will add NEW content to the game? They have said they won't. MOX was the last of it. Changing NPC placement, or even what type of NPCs could be possible, but new maps would require a load of work they don't have people to do. If AB is boring to you, you have options. Play a different part of the game (FA, JQ, RA, TA, HA, HB, GvG, or PvE) or play a different game. If the only thing you enjoy in GW now is AB, and that is boring, then find a new game.

I tend to try to mix everything up a bit when I play Guild Wars just so things do not get boring. This is why I am not in a guild that requires an daily faction point requirement. AB is something that we should always enjoy. It is an honor to own a town though. New maps would be nice but I also feel that this will not happen. From here until Guild Wars 2 I only think there will be small updates. Small updates meaning nothing as big as adding new maps for AB. Arenanet has their hands full with Guild Wars 2 right now and I feel that should be their top priority. I do not want to get into Guild Wars 2 and be disappointed.
